Presley had her first dance class today. She was very excited - can you tell? She takes dance once a week for 45 minutes and it's a combination class of tap and ballet. Walking in with her bag on her shoulder - she's all grown up. My Mom said I cried and cried on my first day of dance - I'm so glad that she didn't. Sad thing is, Preston cried when they closed the door and he realized that she was on the other side of it!
The Mom's went in at first to meet the teacher and then as we exited the room, she gathered them in a circle. Presley is the youngest one in her class and the only little girl in this picture that is her height is 4 years old!
The teacher wanted them to sit like her - at least it seems that Presley catches on fast!
When class was over, her teacher came out with all of them and she thanked Presley for being a good listener!! She's been dancing all day today - up on her toes, arms above her head and turning like a ballerina. Tonight in the kitchen, as Kevin was getting their milk ready, Preston was a beautiful ballerina - I guess he's watched her do it so much today, that he picked it right up - he had his hands up over his head and turned around so many times that he said "WHOA"!!

Pajama party anyone! August 17, 2008
Sara J's ~ August 16, 2008
OK, yes we are back at the beach again. We always go the last weekend before school begins and this year was no different, except it was more fun because not only did we have Grandma & Grandpa (who we always crash with on this weekend), but Bobby, Gail, Devin & Emily were there too! We played on the beach and then ate at Sara J's of course....Kevin walked the babies down to the water after we ate. I would love to know what Preston was thinking!! Presley is just happy!
Aren't they cute?
After dinner, we went to the arcade and played games. This is Presley's favorite (and one of mine too).
Preston is trying really hard to concentrate - he did actually hit it a couple of times!

We're at the beach now! August 10, 2008
We picked Preston up from Garden City and then went to Ocean Lakes to stay at the beach house. We enjoyed lots of playing in the sand and the water. Ryan is missing in action for most of the pictures because he wanted to skateboard!
Presley loves the ocean and is quite the little dare devil. Preston likes the ocean if his Daddy carries him out pass all of the waves (which makes me nervous)!
She was telling him "It's OK Preston" and trying to jump the waves!
Still happy!

Trying to leave the hotel! August 9, 2008
So, when we picked Ryan up from church camp, his counselor said that the kid's were worn out. Well, he wasn't kidding. Ryan and Presley shared a room at the hotel in Georgetown, she woke up, got dressed and we went downstairs to have breakfast. Ryan was exhausted - he slept and we brought him some breakfast back up to the room. It took him forever to wake up enough to eat, get dressed and pack to leave! Presley didn't understand what the big deal was! She was just ready to go to the beach and he was slowing her down.
We're in Georgetown now! August 8, 2008
We left Hilton Head, picked up the babies and drove home yesterday. Ryan came home from camp today and we packed again and left as soon as he got back to go to the beach! We drove to Garden City and dropped off Preston with Linda (who was recovering from hand surgery), PaPa & Courtney. We then went to Georgetown and ate at the River Room, which was really good! After eating way too much food, we enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and Ryan and Presley loved seeing tons of fish - Ryan only wished he had a fishing pole!
Our view ~ August 7, 2008
This is what we woke up too! Can you believe this picture was taken from our balcony? We had a corner room, so this is what we saw from the other view.
We were up very early to take a walk on the beach - our mini vacation was way too mini!!!
It's was nice to get away overnight and although we enjoyed it very much, we talked about our kid's the whole time we were gone!

Mini Vacation ~ August 6, 2008
While Ryan was at camp, we packed up, dropped the babies off with Grandma & Grandpa and drove to Hilton Head Island. Preston is a little confused as to why he's waving bye to us! Our room was amazing! We laughed when we got there because the room was like a house - big enough for everyone - and we had no kids!!!
We had an ocean view with sliding glass doors in all of the rooms. I could really live there, but then again, I could live in pretty much any hotel! Those of you that know me, know the one hotel that I could not live in!!!

Going to camp ~ August 5, 2008
It's time for Ryan to leave to go to camp with our church. This is his first camping trip by himself and he is excited and a little nervous. The babies are up to love him bye. I think the nerves are better now that he's at church with his friend's.
Waiting for the bus. The ride to camp is about 3 hours. Glad I'm not on that bus!
It's finally here and loaded with lots of kids and a little luggage!

All Aboard! ~ August 3, 2008
Cupcakes anyone? July 31, 2008
My little helpers are fast at work separating their Diego cupcake liners. Preston knew just what to do.
And Presley is becoming quite the grown up!
We all know that this is the best part of baking cupcakes!
The waiting was just too much for him. He put the glove on by himself and pretended to open the oven!
Still waiting.
