Enjoying Lake Murray

Our 5th grader driving the jet ski. It's so hard to believe that school is out and that he will be in the 5th grade in the fall. He made the honor roll again and won the Best Listener award - and yes, that needs to be framed!
Preston getting ready to ride the jet ski.
He loved riding and Presley enjoyed splashing!

Shooting water is a must and Presley could see all the fishies at the dock. They had lots of fun and the water was very warm.
Preston still wanted to ride after we got home.
He didn't seem to mind that he had no water!

Bubbles Galore ~ June 3, 2008

Kevin came home from work in the middle of the morning to blow bubbles for the babies! Notice any similarities in this picture?
I thought it was too cute that they have the same knee lifted and they are pointing with the same hand. Oh, and their big bellies look a lot alike too!

Memorial Day ~ May 26, 2008

Ryan had school on Memorial Day and baseball practice that night. Fun thing is, it was Kids vs. Parents night at practice and he was excited about that. We stopped at the only place there is in the world to eat - McDonald's - and headed to the ball field. They really like this eating outside thing that we've had going on lately!
So, the Coach talked to the Dad's before the game and told them to "go easy on the kids when you get up to bat".
"WHAT?" Daddy, did you not hear what the coach said to you before the game?
Leave it to my Daddy to be the one that the coach says something to about hitting the ball too hard! Like Father, Like Son - they both like to play hard and LOUD!
Ryan just played his last game of the season - he pitched and played 1st base a lot and had some great hits throughout the season!

Swan Lake ~ May 24, 2008

We enjoyed the day with the kids at Swan Lake in Sumter. Ryan loved taking pictures!
The babies are very interested in what they are seeing right now!
I think Ryan was a little surprised that the swan came so close to him for bread - this is what the babies were watching!
The Iris Festival was happening while we were at the gardens and we strolled through the vendor area looking at all of the flowers and wood workings. It didn't take us long to find the food and boy was Preston happy! He needed some help from his big brother with eating because he wouldn't put his lemonade down - I think he was afraid that someone would take it if he did - and he was probably right!

After we had our little picnic, we found a stage with a dance company entertaining. It began to rain not long after, but it didn't bother Presley - she was so excited to see the little girl's dancing.

Ryan really enjoyed the dancing as well, but I don't think he would admit it!
