HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY PRESTON!

My sweet baby is 1 today. Katie & Preston have formed a very special bond in the past few months and finally I have some help with taking care of the babies. Katie has decided that she is the new, official "undresser" (not a word-I'm sure) of Preston! When he crawls on the floor, she follows behind and pulls his socks off. She pulls one sleeve until his arm comes out and then goes for the other one. As you can see, Preston loves every minute of it - it is priceless!

PARTY, PARTY, PARTY!

After church on Sunday, we headed to Texas Roadhouse for lunch, presents & cake. Presley didn't waste any time opening presents! It's hard to believe that she is 2 years old already. Preston had fun being held by everyone and he enjoyed the ribbons & bows that were on the presents!

Presley is ready for the next one!

Presley said "I got you".

So, my Mom had her birthday on the 27th, Presley the 28th and Brandon & Preston have the same birthday on the 30th. Now that's a lot of birthday's!

It seemed to take her forever to open a present. I thought she would just rip the paper off, but she was very careful with her unwrapping!

Preston didn't want to rip the paper either!

It was time for cake and the candles scared Presley to death!

Preston was the one that we had to keep his hands away from the cake until the candles were blown out. After that, he had his hands in the icing as fast as he could and had icing on my clothes within seconds!

Believe it or not, the fun didn't stop here. After eating way too much food and cake, we all headed to Frankie's Fun Park. The kids played games, won lots of tickets and the big kids played laser tag! The highlight of the day was when everyone drove the go-karts. Presley wasn't quite tall enough to ride, but they let her ride anyway and she loved it. OK, you'll have to take my word for it about the fun park, because the slack Mama didn't take any pictures while we were there!

SOUTH CAROLINA STATE FAIR

It's no secret that our family loves riding rides and eating fair food! Preston had his first taste of a funnel cake (a must have when you go to the fair) and he was in HEAVEN! Notice the powdered sugar everywhere as we all take part in sharing a funnel cake!
Presley & her Daddy sliding down a huge slide.
This was the highlight of the trip. Presley talks about riding the elephant everyday! Preston on the other hand is more interested in me!
Funny how the two babies are so laid back as they ride on top of this huge animal!
Presley rode the train more than once!

My two boys enjoying the fair.
Presley enjoyed feeding the animals so much that a stranger bought food and gave it to her just so he could watch her feed them. I can't believe how at ease she was with them. One licked her on the head and she tried to climb the fence to get in with them!

Happy Early Birthday!

Presley & Preston celebrated their birthday's with Grandma & Grandpa today. It's hard to believe that they are almost 1 and 2. We had a great time and the kids enjoyed opening presents (and the balloons were even better)! We hope they have fun on their trip to Canada and can't wait until they come home!!!!!

PS - Ryan said he really enjoyed having lunch with you at school today and that he was very surprised when he saw you. He was all smiles when he came home!

Don't you just love sidewalk chalk? October 9, 2007

Presley sure does!

ON OUR WAY TO BABY KELLAN'S SHOWER ~ SEPT. 22, 2007

The ride to Florence all of a sudden was very quiet. You can see why.............
We had a great time at the baby shower watching all of the big kids play (yes, Derrick is the biggest)! Presley is very concerned about Ryan being clobbered by Derrick, but it's Hayden to the rescue!

He's my Ryan and it's OK for me to squish him! Funny how she's worried about him when others do the same thing!
Ryan & Presley loved playing with you Hayden!

VISITING MA ~ SEPTEMBER 22, 2007

We stopped at the nursing home to see Ma today. She was very happy to see the kids and we had a great visit.
My little gentleman!
What did you say Ma? Sweet sugar!
And more sweet sugar!
