Easter Egg Hunt ~ April 7, 2007

We had a Easter egg hunt at my cousin Laura's house today and it was great to see all of our family, hunt eggs and eat lots of food. The hunters were separated into groups and the older kids were paired with some of the smaller ones. Ryan has no clue who his partner was. As you can see from the picture, he was on a mission all by himself!

The toddlers had their very own section of the yard for hunting with "No Big Kids Allowed"! Presley acted like she had been hunting eggs all of her life.

She tried to pick up two eggs at the same time. Wish the pictures had sound, because every time she leaned over, she grunted. It was too cute!

At the end of the egg hunt, the kids all gathered around and counted their eggs and opened the plastic ones. Presley won the prize egg for the toddlers. She had candy and $1 inside of it.

Playing Peek-A-Boo ~ April 6, 2007

Ryan and Presley were upstairs playing the Playstation and Preston was downstairs playing on the floor. I ran upstairs for a second and at the top of the stairs, I could hear Preston laughing, as if someone were tickling him. I looked into Ryan's room and both were still there, so Ryan decided that Daddy had come home early and was downstairs making him laugh. Well, I ran downstairs and this is the picture I saw - a cute little bottom sticking out from under the ottoman. Have no idea how he got himself under there, but he sure thought it was funny!

THE B-A-B-L-E! April 6, 2007

Kevin has been reading the Bible to Presley every night before bed. I went in her room to put clothes away today and she followed me. While in her closet, I heard her saying something and stomping her feet. When I stopped to see what she was trying to say, I realized that she was pointing to her little pink Bible that she has and saying "BABLE-BABLE"! I gave it to her and she sat in her chair and read her B-A-B-L-E, while I finished the laundry!

We can hear Aunt Gail laughing from Alabama!!!

He was so excited to be able to have Devin sign a baseball for him!

Ryan was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with his grandparents over the weekend. He was able to go and stay with Aunt Gail, Uncle Bobby & Devin and watch Devin play baseball. He said that Devin was so good, everyone was scared of him! While checking up on Ryan, he asked us if we were going to give him a "Welcome Home Party"? He was just kidding of course, but when he arrived home, he had a honey bun surprise waiting for him. As you can see from the picture, we think he was happy!
