We needed a break today!

We've had a rough couple of weeks lately and to top it all off, today was Preston's Dr. visit for his shots and check-up. He now weighs 25 pounds!!! She is very pleased with his progress and from looking back on his growth chart she feels that he has completely caught up.....she said it is amazing to look at the plots on his graph from before the surgery compared to now. At one point before his surgery, he was actually below the 5th percentile in growth, meaning he was below 95% of children his age in growth! All of his plots are 50% and above now, which is completely normal. So, I packed up the kids and we headed to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate and eat lots of pizza! Ryan had 4 pieces.
Preston had 3 pieces.
Presley had 1 and 1/2.
And this is what was left - nothing - from a large pizza - and Daddy is in California!
Preston realized that the pizza was "all gone" and he was out of there!

Courtney's Graduation ~ May 16, 2008

It is so hard to believe that our little monkey graduated from high school! It's official now!
Thanks for the close-up Kevin!
Ryan, Angie & Brandon with Courtney - we are all very proud of her!
Linda & PaPa included!!!!!
Courtney is in Mexico on her senior trip as we speak ~ we love you monkey!

Simon Says - May 4, 2008

Ryan has enjoyed being involved in Kid's Praise at our church and he recently performed in "Simon Says". This was the first drama part that he had in a performance and he was very nervous. Luckily, he was the first one called to the stand (playing Andrew) and he did a great job - he actually performed - he enunciated and really got into the character. We were very proud of him and he was glad to finish the speaking part. He sang a solo afterwards and I don't think he was nervous at all about singing!!

Snacking outside - April 23, 2008

Now that the weather is nice, the babies have been having breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks outside at their picnic table!

Working with Daddy - April 17, 2008

We joined Daddy for his annual meeting in North Myrtle Beach at Kingston Plantation this year and boy was it nice. We had a 3 bedroom condo and this is what was outside our back door! Ryan fished the entire time we were there and Presley enjoyed all of the time she spent fishing with PaPa.
Ryan's patience finally paid off - he decided that we should do this more often and his ambition in life now is to take his Daddy's place at work!

Ryan's Spring Break!

This is where Ryan spent 95% of his spring break. He loved every minute of it and he has the bruises on his legs to prove it!

Time for the beach!

Presley posing for the camera when we hit the beach - she was so excited! Preston liked watching the waves.
And the girls!
But playing in the sand was the best.
Presley enjoyed the beach and actually ran straight into the freezing cold water! They love watching the airplanes tow the banners.

Playing games in Garden City!

The ball just kept rolling back to her. She was supposed to hit it, but she had more fun watching it pop up and go back down.
Preston couldn't roll the ball hard enough, so here he is trying to climb up on the skee ball - smart boy!
We couldn't leave without riding a horsey......
and an army jeep!

My baby boy!

Just had to post these pictures because I like them!

Fun time at the beach house!

These babies love bath time! And splash time!
Preston found a new game to play - slide off the end of the couch.
And clap - and that means everybody clap!

Kyoto's at the beach ~ March 24, 2008

We all went to Kyoto's and enjoyed lots of food. This was Preston's first trip and he enjoyed watching our food being cooked at the table (even though he was a little scared of the fire!) My handsome boys!
Presley trying her best to eat with chopsticks!
Preston doesn't need chopsticks - his hands are the fastest!
Ryan with Grandma & Grandpa and way too much food!

Easter Egg Hunt ~ March 23, 2008

After church, we packed the truck and the kids and headed to the beach for Spring Break. We made a stop at my cousin's house for a great Easter Egg Hunt! Presley is patiently waiting to be told to "GO"! Ryan is off and running ~ he definitely was the champ for the day finding the most prize eggs.
PaPa is trying his best to fill Preston's basket!
Preston knew exactly what to do at the hunt because I had him practice at home all week!
Presley knew exactly how to open the eggs with candy in them and she certainly didn't hesitate!
What?
Still going strong.
OK, please tell me why this egg won't open!
Walking with her daddy.
Time for the prizes - each prize egg had a number in it and that number was the order in which you would choose a prize from the basket. Ryan had 6 prize eggs and ended up with 4 water guns, a Frisbee and I don't know what else.
Presley had 2 prize eggs and is proudly displaying her pack of stickers that she chose.

We had a great time hunting and playing and eating and then we were off to the beach.
